The Bandstand

The park is centred around a maintained orchard area, where some of the original fruit trees are still growing . In a corner near the car park, we have a built a large bandstand, which has become a focal point for the events that take place on the park throughout the year . Past events have included coffee mornings, fish and chip suppers, viewings of the football World Cup and other sporting events, and it has even played host to a brass band. When not being used for functions, the bandstand houses a full size table-tennis table, which is free for everyone to use.
